Atlas Copco Nigeria has been established since 2009 with offices in Lagos and Port Harcourt. The Customer Center employs around 50 people and represents two Business Areas – Compressor Technique and Power Technique.

Atlas Copco is an OEM in the emerging Alternative Energy Space. We Design, Supply, Install, Service, and Maintain, Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Fueling systems. We have a network of customer throughout the nation that we offer technical support to.

We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Sales Supervisor

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

The Role

  • To lead sales team to approach new customers, listen to and identify customers’ needs, and provide optimized solution so as to meet customer needs.
  • To look through and confirm the contract and decide price and payment condition of products within a limits authority.
  • To lead and unite sales people energetically to develop market, fulfills the target that superior set.
  • To carry out market investigation and provide market information and reference data for superior to establish price policy and market share of products.
  • To keep good relationships with all customers including key-customers.

Sales Team Development & People Management:

  • To build up sales team in the assigned region.
  • To define and optimize continuously the number and geographical spread of direct sales force and distributors.
  • Interpretation & implementation of company’s policy truly and quickly to sales people.
  • To train, coach and boost sales people’s competence in both technical and commercial aspects.

Skills and Experience

  • University Degree or above, majored in mechanical engineer or equivalent.
  • 7 – 10 years experience in technical or sales field at a machinery company, of which 4 years experience in compressor industry.
  • Willing to travel.
