Job Title: Group HR Business Partner

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Overview

  • The incumbent will implement, execute and coordinate the tactical activities, of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring compliance and implementation of the organization’s goals and talent strategy across the Group.

Responsibilities

  • Supports execution of the employee strategy for the Group through engagement with HR heads to drive milestones and timelines on all HR deliverables.
  • Plans, develops and implements policies, processes and initiatives to support the Group’s human resource compliance and strategy needs.
  • Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including development of reports and metrics.
  • Utilizes the LinkedIn tool and HR networks to attract and recruit the best candidates across the Group as required.
  • Responsible for the implementation of training programs within the Group and support of OpCOs in implementation of Training academies and departmental skills training hubs.
  • Supports the Group in participation in salary surveys where necessary.
  • Ensures the development and administration of a recognition policy for the Group.
  • Follows up with execution on all talent reviews and succession planning for managerial levels and below working with HR heads across the Group.
  • Coordinates the implementation of employee experience activities for the Group.
  • Execution of contract register, weekly legal tracker, litigation tracker, debt recovery tracker, Land / property tracker on all countries through follow up and assistance. Follow up with countries for scanned documents and storage in Teams folder.
  • Execution of AGM and board Meeting templates and documents. Follow up on all fillings as well as ensure all legal documents are up to date across countries.
  • Execution of weekly regulatory tracker, permits register by regulatory bodies, tracking expiration of certificates, BOM trackers and competitor BOM review.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management or related discipline required.
  • At least five (5) years of professional experience across all HR disciplines, including recruitment, compensation & benefits, employee relations, training and development, workers compensation and conflict resolution.
  • Experience working with a diverse workforce.
