We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Electrical Supervisor
Ref: IITA-P&C-NRS2023-025
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Description
- Repair and maintain electrical aspects, controls, and cables of 2X300 tons and 2X600 tons of Central A/C chillers.
- Repair and maintain high-current control panels, condensers, and electric motors in the central chilling plant.
- Repair and maintain cooling towers for condensers in the chilling plant.
- Repair and maintain Air Handling units (AHU) and cold stores in major buildings.
- Repair and maintain all electrical aspects of Gene-bank cold stores.
- Read sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Monitor and update the inventory of spare parts.
- Perform any other job-related task as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc. /HND in Mechanical Engineering or any other related field with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.
Competencies:
The ideal candidate must:
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Have a good working knowledge of the chilling plant.
- Have the ability to read engineering drawings in detail.
- Have the ability to use basic Microsoft software.
