Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head of Finance to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business and driving the company’s financial strategy and planning.
Responsibilities
- Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks
- Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions
- Handling VAT, PAYE and Tax duties, including corporation tax.
- Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines
- Take the lead on financial accounting and reporting
- Oversee all audit and internal control operations
- Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Create, update and implement financial policies and procedures
- Oversee, review, and adhere to the budgets for each business department
Requirements
- Minimum of B.Sc in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Accountant
- ACCA or ICAN Certification will be a plus
- An ability to make quick but sound decisions
- Good ability to maintain accuracy when dealing with numbers.
