Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) – We coordinate and unify the petroleum policies of its Member Countries and ensure the stabilization of oil markets in order to secure an efficient, economic and regular supply of petroleum to consumers, a steady income to producers and a fair return on capital for those investing in the petroleum industry.
We are recruiting to fill the position below in our Energy Studies Department:

Main Responsibilities
- Contributes to the preparation, coordination, and implementation of medium term programme, annual work and budgetary planning, project planning and monitoring for the Division within the framework of the Office of the Director;
- Supports the Director in the substantive preparation, review, revision and clearance of the Research Division’s papers and reports for the Governing Bodies as well as of external publication/presentations;
- Initiates joint RD research projects and other collaboration with external entities
- Follows-up pending matters within the Division and with other Division/Departments/Offices
- Finalises the Division’s reports and presentations to Management and to the Governing Bodies
- Carries out any other tasks assigned by the relevant superiors as pertain to his/her background, qualifications and position.
Requirements and Work Experience
- Candidates should possess a University Degree with at least 15 years experience
- Advanced degree preferred with at least 12 years experience

- Conducting and/or coordinating research

- Effective writing and reporting
- Communication and analytical skills
- Presentation and interpersonal skills

- Initiative and integrity
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; German an asset
Offer
Monthly basic salary of (€6,669 x 12 per year), with tax-free benefits and six-week annual leave.
