Job Title: Account / Inventory Assistant
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Reports to: Senior Account Officer
Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Account Assistant/Inventory Officer to support our accounting and inventory management functions.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, as well as experience with inventory management systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure the accuracy of inventory records and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to manage inventory levels and forecast future demand.
- Perform routine audits of inventory to ensure the accuracy of data.
- Maintain knowledge of current inventory management software and systems.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure that all invoices are properly processed and paid in a timely manner.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports, including monthly and year-end financial statements.
- Coordinate and manage inventory operations including monitoring inventory levels, placing orders, and tracking shipments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and inventory management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks and inventory management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
