Job Title: Senior Finance Manager
Location: Abuja
Job Summary
- The role incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing financial systems/policies, preparing financial statements as well as interpreting applicable financial reporting standards to all stakeholders.
Skills and Attributes
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any related discipline
- Relevant professional certifications e.g., Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Association of Certified and Chartered Accountants (ACCA) or its equivalent.
- Minimum of seven (7) years relevant work experience, three (3) of which must have been spent in a managerial position.
- Hands-on experience in the application of IFRS standards to drive compliance and ensure integrity of financial records.
- Possesses a strategic, commercial and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Demonstrates agility with a sound appreciation of the value-chain in the education business.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Pragmatic and able to exercise initiative and sound judgment.
- Experience in the Education or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector is an advantage.
- Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of full cycle financial accounting/reporting, management accounting, tax accounting/audit, etc.
