We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Therapist

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • Our organization is seeking a part-time Therapist to join our team. The part-time Therapist will be responsible for providing mental health therapy services to the community of women supported by our NGO and women in general who need mental health support on a part-time basis, with a focus on promoting their mental health, well-being, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group therapy services to women on a part-time basis, including assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing support.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities and techniques that are effective for treating trauma, depression, anxiety, and other mental health conditions.
  • Collaborate with other members of the organization, to develop and implement a comprehensive approach to mental health services that is client-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy services to women, preferably in a trauma-informed setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the organization to develop and implement a comprehensive approach to mental health services.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Commitment to social justice, equity, and empowerment for the community of women supported by the organization.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and techniques for treating trauma, depression, anxiety, and other mental health conditions.
  • Experience working with women from diverse backgrounds
