Rock Mida Engineering & Technical Services is an indigenous Engineering and technical services company, actively engaged in the Engineering, Procurement, Installation, Construction, Commissioning and Maintenance of Oil and Gas and Process/manufacturing facilities in Nigeria.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Construction Site Accountant
Location: Ijora, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile construction project budget
- Monitor cash flow and forecast future needs
- Assist with audits of construction projects.
- Review invoices and subcontractor agreements for accuracy
- Process payments to vendors and subcontractors
- Prepare journal entries and monthend close reports
Objectives
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for construction projects
- Analyze construction costs and track project expenditures
- Provide financial reporting and analysis to construction managers
- Assist with the development of bids and proposals for new construction projects
- Monitor compliance with government regulations related to construction finance.
- Forecast construction revenue and expenses
- Identify cost saving opportunities for construction projects
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- A certification in construction accounting is preferred.
- Working knowledge of the construction industry.
- Solid analytical and mathematical skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A minimum of 3 year’s experience in private or public accounting.
- Excellent knowledge of construction cost accounting and related financial procedures.
Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 Monthly.
