Success Digest Growth Initiative is a Non-governmental organization founded in August 2015 and registered with the corporate affairs commission (CAC) in Nigeria with certificate number (CAC/IT/NO 80360) to provide microfinance and developmental services to retail business owners who are registered members of the organization. We provide Membership-based micro-savings scheme, Business advisory services to men and women at the lower pyramid, and Microfinance Training and mentoring.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Credit Officer

Location: Badagry, Abule Egba, Okoko – Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Responsible for processing loan applications for clients
  • Prospect new SME clients and assist them with loan applications.
  • Prepares and executes loan contracts and arrange for disbursement of loan in kind.
  • Monitors the loan and follows up on the timely repayment.
  • Maintain contact and maintain good relationships with clients.
  • Ensure full compliance with all in-place.
  • Has the ability to analyse and interpret financial statements of the business in order to access the repayment capacity and financial soundness of the borrower.
  • Conducts loan appraisal, collects detailed information (personal, business, and guaranties), and arranges to open a new loan account.
  • Any other task as assigned.

Skills and Specifications

  • Candidates should possess an O’level, OND, NCE, HND or BSc
  • At least 0- 3 years prior experience in a Microfinance bank’s credit/SME department.
  • Negotiation and internal relationship building.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Analysis and reporting skills.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Salary

  • N60,000.00 per month
  • Ability to commute/relocate.
