We are recruiting to to fill the position below:
Job Title: Microbiologist – Crown
Location: Ijebu-Ode, Ogun
Job Purpose
- This position is accountable for the microbiological examination of finished goods, the environment, analyses of the findings and recommendation of correction and corrective measures as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Carry out microbiological analysis on intermediate and final products to ensure distribution of high-quality products to the customers.
- Inspection of manufacturing processes to check for possible contamination.
- Microbiological analysis of drinking water and documentation of results and activities
- Ensure good Housekeeping/Hygiene practices of infrastructure and work environment within the manufacturing and total plant operating area.
- Collect samples from Customers and support in Laboratory management
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Science Laboratory Technology (Biology/Microbiology option) or any science related course
- 1-3 years experience in related industry
- Knowledge of ISO 22000, ISO 14001 and Environmental Management System (EMS)
- Management System and audit experience will be an advantage
- Good statistical knowledge and experience of document control
- Good knowledge of root cause analysis
- Strong Numerical and Analytical Skills
