Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist
Location: Amuwo Odofin, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description
- To perform laboratory tests in order to produce reliable and precise data to support scientific investigations
- To prepare specimens, samples and reagents
- To operate and ensure regular maintenance of laboratory equipment
- To participate in equipment validations, calibrations, quality controls and assessment
- To ensure the laboratory is well-stocked and resourced
- To promptly and accurately record laboratory results and present to pathologist for approval.
- To ensure safety of all data records and generated in the laboratory
- To keep up to date with technical developments, especially those which can save time and improve reliability
- To ensure and adhere to standard laboratory safety measures and checks.
- Involved with scientific meetings in the department
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with 2 – 6 years relevant work experience.
Salary
N110,000 – N120,000 Monthly.
