United Geophysical (Nigeria) Limited is Nigeria’s oldest oil service company having began operations in the western Niger Delta in the early 1960’s and incorporated as a limited liability company in 1971. The company has over 50 years of continuous operations specialising in land and swamp 2D, 3D and 4D seismic data acquisition and has conducted seismic surveys for all the major oil companies operating in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Shipping Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description
Applicants will be responsible for:

• Importation and exportation of equipment by air and sea
• Liaising with suppliers from the purchase of equipment to shipping and delivery of equipment
• Customs clearance for all items coming into and out of the country
• Coordinating transportation for the dispatch of equipment to the crews
• Any other related task as assigned by supervisor.

Qualification

• A minimum of Second-Class University Degree in any related field.

Experience:

• Between 3 – 5 years experience in procurement and logistics gained preferably within the oil sector.
• A custom / legal background would be an added advantage
• Candidates must be dedicated, reliable, honest and a team player.
• The selected candidate must have excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Candidates must be computer highly literate.
