Job Description

• The Head, Finance and Administration will manage all financial and administrative responsibilities, and will provide overall guidance, leadership support and strategic direction in the execution of activities of the Finance function.

Qualifications

• First Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field from a reputable institution.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in accounting or finance.
• Relevant professional certifications, (i.e. ACA, ACCA , CIMA, CFA).
• In-depth understanding of cash flow management, budgeting, planning, management accounting, corporate finance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong business and commercial acumen.
• Good knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models.
• High sense of responsibility, accountability, integrity and ethical standards.

Skills and Capabilities:

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day finance and accounting operations and finance team.
• Co-ordinate the financial planning process to support the organisational growth and expansion plans.
• Ensure analysis and articulation of the organisation’s financial performance in line with relevant international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
• Oversee the development and implementation of a finance strategy that is properly aligned and supports the organisation’s strategic goals and objectives.
• Oversee financial reporting and analysis including recommendation of changes to improve systems and financial performance.
