Job Title: Technician / Rigger (Technical Services)
Locations: Warri – Delta, Port Harcourt – Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description
- To support the sites team leader to achieve the desired business goals.
- This may include all Rigging Jobs, Installations of systems, Systems Checks, Corrections, etc. as may be directed by the team lead.
- Installation of telecommunications cabling and Systems
- Installation, relocation and removal of tower-mounted equipment
- Working at heights on a range of telecommunications structures including poles, towers and masts to install antennas, feeders and ancillary equipment
- Erection and fixing of steel structures to facilitate the installation of telecommunications equipment
- Termination of telecommunications cables of various types and sizes;
- Testing of cables for compliance with specifications
- Working with cranes, cherry pickers and EWP’s as required carrying out works on site.
Qualifications
Education:
- Trade certificate or Diploma in Information Technology / Electrical Engineering.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in an ELV/Telecom Services
- Minimum 5 years in Electrical Installation.
Technical Requirements:
- Ability to proffer solutions to technical challenges on-site at any point in time
- Proficiency in reporting technical issues and solutions
- Must be safety conscious and have a flair for maintaining HSSE.
