Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently, we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Type: Contract
Job Description
- Provides technical support to the JV sites for static mechanical equipment, marine equipment and rotating equipment. Acts as focal technical authority for static and marine equipment engineering matters, and provides expert technical advice to the sites maintenance teams and all JV departments.
- Development and planning of static and rotating equipment modifications and improvement projects, to ensure their safe, cost-effective and timely execution in accordance with established Company standards and specifications.
Requirements
- Formal education: B.SC. Mechanical Engineering
- Combined 15 years experience with rotating, static and marine equipment preferably within the oil or petrochemical industries.
- Team management skills
- Computer literacy is an advantage
- Proficiency in English language
