Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary
- We seek for immediate employment the service of a very experienced Accountant
Responsibilities
- To be encouraging and provide needed support to the front desk staff
- To prepare weekly sales reports, expenditure statements and to uphold the company’s values of integrity and honesty and be accountable for errors made
- To help develop business process to create better accounting systems
- Knowledge of digital tools for effective accounts
- To provide our external auditors with information upon request.
- To assist the General manager in keeping daily records of financial transactions
- To keep regular financial books
- To monitor daily entries on the sage software and ensure minimal errors
- To develop, organize and conduct regular in-house training for staff to learn basic accounting skills
- To ensure that the company is up-to-date on tax fillings and avoid unnecessary penalties
- To report to the GM any case of financial discrepancies
- To report and suggest checks to prevent cash leakage
Requirements
- B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
- 2 – 3 years work experience as an Accountant
- Ability to speak and understand Hausa would be an added advantage
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
Salary
N50,000 Monthly.
