In our glass container business, we are focused on markets in Africa, which are increasingly the prime regions of investment for our customers. We aim to create value for our customers by building on our position as a leading supplier of glass bottles and complementary packaging solutions in West Africa.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Cashier
Location: Lagos
Job Purpose
- Receives and disburses funds, as well as cash and check payments.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for payment of the company’s bills by cash, vouchers or cheques
- Records transactions, which involve raising cheques and preparing transaction reports
- Submits & retrieves documents to and from banks on behalf of the company
- Maintains and manages employees’ cash advance schedules
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits or changes due to customers and employees
Qualifications & Experience
- Must have strong work ethics
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly
- Excellent customer service and people skills
- Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Accounting or any other related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in related roles
- Basic math and computer skills
