Job Description
- Support the Shareholder return strategy by developing and implementing Network Group Processes that are aligned to achieving all elements on the business score card. (I.e. Grow Market Share, Grow ICT & Data Revenue, Increase EBITDA margins, Assure Revenue, CAPEX Returns Management and Net Subscriber Additions).
- Support the Shareholder return strategy by developing and implementing Network Group Processes that are aligned to achieving all elements on the business score card. (I.e. Grow Market Share, Grow ICT & Data Revenue, Increase EBITDA margins, Assure Revenue, CAPEX Returns Management and Net Subscriber Additions).
- Drive planned strategy for the successful delivery of MTN Group and MTNN transformation initiatives focusing on Customer centricity, including Perfect 10 Project.
- Serve the Division’s internal customers and provide solutions to improve the customer experience.
- Interface with other departments within Network Group, as well as the IS Group and assist in problem-solving in the MPLS WAN and IP LAN with specific emphasis on security.
- Strategic Partnerships with MTNN leadership team to drive awareness on expected behaviors and impact on non-compliance on bottom line results and company image/reputation.
- Network and build solid relationships with internal units and relevant third parties (e.g. strategic investors, technical and finance partners, business consultants etc.) and develop a close working relationship with relevant information sources to provide an integrated service.
- Coordinate, coach and influence external partners and essential support departments across MTNN’s business units to deliver a seamless pre-sales and post-sales service experience.
- Assist in selecting suitable technology vendor in terms of technical compliance, in line with departmental rules and regulations and in collaboration with Procurement.
- Deployment, installation, configuration, manages, and maintains mission critical enterprise firewalls, IPS, VPN and other technical controls.
- Scrutinize customer design and determine impact on the MTN network in terms of security / assist customer in designing a secure solution for interaction between customer system and MTN network.
- Operate, maintain and document IP security guidelines, procedures and policies, and implement network security best practices.
- Maintain and manage Firewall, access lists administration policies.
Job Condition:
- Normal MTNN working conditions.
Minimum Qualification
- Candidates should posses BEng, BTech or HND qualification.
Experience & Training:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an area of specialization; with experience in supervising/managing others.
- Experience working in a medium to large organization.
- experience in Networking Security Environment, including VPNs, Cisco ASA firewalls/Checkpoint firewalls, VPN solutions, IPsec, Fortinet, Tacacs+ and Access-Lists, Load Balancing, Patch Management
- Proven network security architecture knowledge across multiple security domains.
- Experience in multi-vendor network operations
- Solid security experience essential.
