CARE International

CARE International is a major international humanitarian agency delivering emergency relief and long-term international development projects. Founded in 1945, CARE is nonsectarian, impartial, and non-governmental.

Now in its ninth year, the situation in the NE remains extremely critical with 1.6 million internally displaced persons (IDPs), 1.3 million people are returnees and over 7.7 million women, men, girls and boys are in need of critical lifesaving assistance. CARE is currently active in the 2 worst hit states in the northeast, namely Borno and Yobe States and hard to reach Local Government Areas in those states.

CARE is one of the world’s leading international humanitarian agencies working to help people achieve social and economic well being while being among the best in their fields. Our global presence and commitment to ending poverty make CARE an exciting and rewarding place to work.
