The education-focused grant will distribute a total of ₦6 million to 26 successful applicants across three funding tiers, with individual grants ranging from ₦100,000 to ₦500,000.

About the Prince Casper Foundation Impact Grant
The Impact Grant is designed to put funding in the hands of educators working directly with children and young people in primary and secondary education.
For the 2026/2027 cycle, the Foundation is focusing on four areas: Learning Access, Digital Innovation, Educator Excellence and Inclusive Empowerment.
The grant is intended for projects addressing educational challenges in rural, underserved or otherwise disadvantaged communities in Nigeria.

Applicants do not choose the grant tier. The selection committee determines the appropriate award based on the scope, cost, need and relevance of the proposed project.
Who Can Apply?
The Impact Grant is open to applicants who:
- Are actively involved in the education sector in Nigeria.
- Work directly with or contribute to the learning, development or educational outcomes of children and young people in primary or secondary education.
- Serve or work within a rural, underserved or educationally disadvantaged community in Nigeria.
- Can demonstrate a clear financial need affecting their ability to support or improve teaching and learning outcomes.
Previous Prince Casper Fellows are also eligible to apply, although the Foundation says priority will be given to applicants who have not previously received the Impact Grant.
Focus Areas
Applications will be assessed based on their alignment with four priority areas.
1. Learning Access
Projects that improve classroom readiness, attendance and literacy by addressing barriers that prevent children from learning effectively.
2. Digital Innovation
Projects that help bridge the digital divide and prepare students for a technology-driven economy.
3. Educator Excellence
Initiatives that improve teaching quality, classroom engagement and school leadership.
4. Inclusive Empowerment
Projects that promote equity, reduce school dropout and strengthen the long-term resilience of families and communities.
How Applications Will Be Assessed
The Foundation will consider several factors when reviewing applications:
- Demonstration of need – 20%
- Relevance and alignment – 10%
- Impact potential and sustainability – 30%
- Feasibility and implementation plan – 20%
- Applicant capacity and track record – 10%
- Budget clarity and accountability – 10%
Applicants should therefore clearly explain the educational problem they are addressing, how their proposed project will respond to it and how the funding will be used.
Application Requirements
Applicants are required to complete the online application form and upload supporting documents.
The Foundation requests:
- Letter of Intent: 500–750 words explaining the educational challenge, proposed solution and expected impact.
- Curriculum Vitae: Including professional background, teaching experience, key achievements and a recent headshot.
- Supporting materials: Additional evidence demonstrating the applicant’s qualifications and impact, submitted as a single PDF.
