The Jerry Eze Foundation has launched a $300,000 empowerment grant aimed at supporting young entrepreneurs operating in agriculture, technology and manufacturing, as part of efforts to promote enterprise development and job creation.
Announcing the initiative in a video address, the founder of the foundation, Pastor Jerry Eze, said the programme would target 100 young people with innovative business ideas or existing ventures, with each beneficiary receiving a minimum of $3,000 to either strengthen their businesses or launch new ones.

According to him, the selection and disbursement process will be managed by an independent and reputable international consulting firm to ensure transparency, fairness and accountability throughout the programme.
“The Jerry Eze Foundation this year will be rolling out an empowerment grant of about $300,000. This will touch the lives of about 100 young persons who are interested in doing something phenomenal in agriculture, technology and manufacturing,” he said.
Eze explained that the initiative is part of the foundation’s broader commitment to holistic empowerment, noting that the grant scheme is designed to support practical, impact-driven ventures that can contribute to economic growth and social development.
He added that the announcement offers an early glimpse into a wider slate of empowerment programmes planned by the foundation, urging interested applicants and the public to watch out for further details on application guidelines and timelines.
The foundation said more information on eligibility criteria and the application process will be released in the coming weeks.
