Afro-Tech Girls Launches ₦100,000 Scholarship for Female STEM Students in Nigeria — Apply Now

Afro-Tech Girls has announced the launch of Project 100 for 50, a new scholarship initiative designed to empower female undergraduate students pursuing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) degrees in Nigeria.

The initiative aims to inspire, equip, and support young women in science and technology fields by easing financial barriers that often limit their academic and career progression.

 About the Project 100 for 50 Scholarship

The Project 100 for 50 Scholarship seeks to make a tangible impact in the lives of 50 outstanding female undergraduate students currently enrolled in STEM courses across Nigerian universities and polytechnics.

Each selected beneficiary will receive a ₦100,000 one-time scholarship grant to support tuition, learning materials, or other educational needs.

According to Afro-Tech Girls, this initiative is part of its broader mission to increase women’s participation in STEM, nurture innovation, and build a stronger, more inclusive workforce for Africa’s digital future.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Afro-Tech Girls Project 100 for 50 Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a female undergraduate student currently enrolled in a STEM-related course (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
  • Be studying at a recognized tertiary institution in Nigeria.
  • Demonstrate academic commitment and passion for innovation, science, or technology.
