Call For Applications: Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID) Next Gen Internship Program 2025
The Next Gen/Campus Reporter project of the Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID) offers high-flying campus journalists and Mass Communication students an opportunity to intern with mainstream media organizations in Nigeria. This initiative is designed to foster mentorship, encourage networking, and build confidence while equipping selected participants with the skills and experiences necessary for a successful career in journalism.

Eligibility
- Applicant must have graduated from a tertiary institution and be awaiting NYSC, or be a Mass Communication SIWES candidate;
- Must be available full-time for a minimum of 3 months before commencing NYSC, or have at least 3 months available for SIWES;
- Must have published at least 5 high-quality accountability reports on the Campus Reporter website;
- Must identify a reputable media organization in your locality and obtain contact details of the Managing Editor/Director.
