Call For Applications: ‘Battle4Solutions’ Competition for secondary school students, start-ups ,undergraduate developers, tech enthusiasts, and MDAs (Up to N100 million)
The Government of Anambra State has announced the opening of applications for a startup competition tagged ‘Battle4Solutions’ through which it intends to award over N100 million in prizes to participating Nigerian startups.
Anambra Battle4Solutions is for empowering tech innovators, secondary school students, start-ups ,undergraduate developers, tech enthusiasts, and MDAs, to drive digital solutions for Anambra’s economic growth
“Battle4Solutions is an innovation competition with a prize pool of over one hundred million naira in cash prizes.
“This competition invites Nigeria’s brightest startups to pitch solutions addressing critical societal challenges in various sectors such as digital health, renewable energy, e-commerce, agritech, fintech, environment, education, etc.,”
Anambra Innovation Week is designed to promote innovation, technological advancements, and digital transformation, particularly in addressing specific socio-economic challenges in Africa.
For the 2024 edition, we are excited to announce the Battle 4 Solutions, aimed at harnessing the ingenuity of innovators, entrepreneurs, developers, and tech enthusiasts to develop cutting-edge solutions to critical challenges across various sectors.
Focus Areas
The Innovation Challenge will focus on developing technological solutions tailored to address the following core challenges:
Key Criteria:
- Scalability across different healthcare facilities in rural and urban areas
- User-friendly interface for both healthcare providers and patients
- Data security and integration with existing health records
- Real-time consultation and prescription capabilities
Eligibility:
- Teams of 2-5 participants
- Participants must be available to attend Anambra Innovation Week 2024
- Open to innovators, developers, students, and entrepreneurs from Anambra State and Nigeria.
Evaluation Criteria:
- Innovation: The novelty and uniqueness of the solution.
- Impact: How effectively the solution addresses the specific challenge.
- Scalability: The potential for the solution to be expanded to other regions or scaled within Anambra.
- Feasibility: Practicality of implementation and long-term sustainability.
- User Experience: Ease of use, accessibility, and user engagement.
