MPOWER Financing and Edward Consulting, committed to supporting African students in their pursuit of quality education abroad, have joined forces to establish a Scholarship. This initiative aims to empower and assist international students in achieving educational excellence in the United States and Canada, recognizing the profound impact of education on both individuals and communities.
The primary objective of this Scholarship Initiative is to remove barriers and make high-quality education accessible to seven African international students who have been admitted to pursue an MBA or a STEM masters program in the United States or Canada for the Fall 2024 intake, or are currently enrolled in such programs and will begin their second year in Fall 2024. To be eligible, applicants must have applied for and been approved for an MPOWER study loan through Edward Consulting.
Scholarship Details
Scholarship Amount: $50,000 to be distributed among seven recipients as follows – $12,000, $10,000, $8,000, and $5,000 (for the last four recipients) Eligibility Criteria
Admission to an MBA or STEM master program at an MPOWER-eligible school. Use the provided link to verify eligible schools. Must have obtained a study visa to the US or Canada and commenced full-time studies at your school for the scholarship to be disbursed. Only one scholarship application per individual is permitted. Scholarship funds will be disbursed directly to the school and not to the recipient’s bank account. MPOWER and Edward Consulting reserve the right to utilize application information for promotional purposes. Recipients will be required to provide headshot photographs. Once studies commence at your overseas school, you cannot opt to forego your MPOWER loan. Application Process
