Program Requirements: While participants receive a stipend rather than a conventional wage, the benefits of this programme extend far beyond monetary compensation. The stipend, aimed at covering basic transportation costs, serves as a practical support during the programme engagement. Participants must meet the following criteria to be considered:
- Matric qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in various fields
- Postgraduate Diploma or NQF 5 certification in specified areas
- Current unemployment status
- Not enrolled in academic studies during the programme
- No prior participation in another YES programme
- No prior work experience required
- Positions available nationwide across all 9 provinces
- 12-month contract duration
- Stipend: R4407.00
