Call For Applications: UN SDSN Nigeria Climate Actors Accelerator Program 2024
The United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network Nigeria (UN SDSN Nigeria) acknowledges the pressing threat of climate change and its repercussions due to the triple planetary emergency. This emergency encompasses escalating global temperatures, habitat loss leading to species extinction, and continuous pollution of air, land, and water.
Introducing the Climate Actors Accelerator Programme (CAAP), a specialized initiative tailored for young innovators and change-makers aged 18 to 35. Geared towards addressing the global climate crisis, CAAP aims to cultivate a sustainable future by offering an immersive program encompassing advanced training, bootcamps, environmental campaigns, clean-up initiatives, tree-planting activities, ecological tours, and innovative thinking.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Nigerian applicants aged between 18 – 35 years.
- Commitment to at least 4 hours per week throughout the program.
- Availability for Masterclass sessions, Climate Education, and Community Development Projects.
- Passion for being a development and transformation agent.
Application Process: Complete the registration form by February 26, 2024, expressing interest in participating in the accelerator program. Applications will be approved on a rolling basis. Submission before the deadline is highly encouraged.
