About Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology

The Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST Africa), a renowned institution for tech entrepreneurship training in Africa, is thrilled to announce the commencement of applications for the Class of 2025. This 12-month, fully sponsored program, located in Accra, presents an exclusive training opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs to shape their ideas into viable startup businesses. The comprehensive curriculum covers modules such as software development, go-to-market strategies, sales strategies, UI/UX Design, communications, and more.

The one-year training program is strategically designed to equip candidates with the skills and knowledge required to pitch their startup ideas for funding, launching businesses that address local and global challenges through software technology.

Benefits of Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology

Participants will gain access to an extensive curriculum and mentorship from industry leaders and international experts. The program concludes with the potential for securing seed funding and business incubation for their tech/software startup. MEST has significantly impacted the African tech landscape, having trained over 1000 entrepreneurs and supported the development of more than 90 funded startups across the continent. Who is Eligible for Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology Program

Applicants must possess a degree from a reputable university or technical college, or demonstrate equivalent experience. The ideal candidate should have entrepreneurial or corporate work experience and a strong passion for launching a software company in Africa. Additionally, candidates are expected to exhibit exceptional soft skills, including leadership qualities and effective communication abilities.

Key Dates for Applicants:

Application Deadline: March 18, 2024 Final Interviews: April & May 2024 in Accra, Lagos, Dakar, Nairobi, and Johannesburg (exact dates to be confirmed later) Training Program Commencement: August 2024 in Accra, Ghana Deadline: March 18, 2024
