Job Title: Bookkeeper
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Description
Cora Shortlet and Restaurant is looking to hire a Bookkeeper who will be in charge of :
- Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases then filing hard copies
- Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
- Completing tax returns
- Preparing employee wages
- Managing employee expense claims
- Helping the Accountant with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts
- Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the management of errors
- Recording any inconsistencies to help the Accountants reconcile inaccuracies
- Developing monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets
Requirements
The candidate should:
- Possess basic accounting knowledge
- Understand accounting best practices
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Produce work with a high level of accuracy
- Possess professionalism and organization skills
- Have knowledge of FIRS ans LIRS processes
- Possess data entry skills
- Have high attention to detail
