Job Title: Research and Development (R&D) Technologist

Job Responsibilities
- To manage continuous research, and review of formulations in skin and hair care towards improved applications in products
- Develop claim substantiation methods and validate new methods in application.
- Identify and manage collaboration opportunities
- Keep up to date with technology understanding and tracking, consumer and market research
- Understand and Manage consumer and marketing research needs.
- To identify consumer, competitor and market insights, and apply to innovations
- To define and manage the development of new/improved products and evaluation against strategy.
- Develop new (analytical and claim substantiation) test methods and generate claim substantiation documents
- To identify gaps and new opportunities for product development/ improvement in area of specialization
Job Requirements
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree in Chemistry / Biochemistry, Diploma in Cosmetic Science will be an added advantage
- 2 – 3 years experience.
- Formulation development, laboratory production and analyses skills
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent Presentation and Report Writing skills.
