We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Scrum Master

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospective meetings.
• Ensure that the dev team is fully functional, productive, and focused on the sprint goal.
• Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to improve the methodologies and best practices.
• Track metrics such as sprint velocity and engineering output and facilitate the creation of burndown charts to monitor team progress and product regular Sprint reports.
• Help the Scrum team achieve higher levels of Scrum maturity.
• Eliminate impediments to the Scrum team’s progress.
• Work closely with Product Managers to groom and prioritize the backlog.
• Protect the dev team from outside disruptions and distractions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with software development processes and procedures.
• Ability to deal with conflicts and resolve them in a constructive manner.
• Experience with agile project management tools like Jira or Asana.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working within the technology sector.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules, and practices.
